Dr. Yantian Tom Lu joined IBM in 1998. He devoted his first 16 years at IBM in AIX security development, where he leads various projects in designing and developing AIX OS security software. Tom has been an IBM Systems Lab Services consultant since 2014, focusing on AIX and Linux security. As a geography lead for North America, Tom has been engaging with clients on all sorts of security projects, including but not limited to security assessment and remediation, security compliance analysis and automation, identity management, authentication, access control, LDAP, Role Based Access Control (RBAC), encrypted filesystem (EFS) and audit.
