Mike joined IBM in 2011. He is a Consulting Architect with IBM Garage for Systems. He has 42 years of leadership and management experience, the last 30 years focused on the management of services providing information delivered by technology. He conducts workshops and consults with client teams to ensure their technical services meet their business demands. He has delivered presentations and conducted seminars focused on the Business of IT, including topics covering service management, enterprise architecture, governance, risk and compliance, software quality and development lifecycle, providing advice and assistance to over 500 corporations and public sector entities. Mr. Walter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Public Administration degree from Florida International University. He is a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS).
