Distinguished Engineer, Chief Architect & CTO, z Systems Virtualization and Linux – IBM Systems

Ingo Adlung joined IBM in 1990. In the late 1990s Ingo was a member on the team that ported Linux to its mainframe platform, initially responsible for the the I/O layer before he became the overall mainframe Linux technical strategist. In 2009 he also became responsible for the z/VM technical directions. Today Ingo serves as IBM Distinguished Engineer, responsible for Linux, containers, the mainframe hypervisors, platform virtualization, virtualization management and Cloud enablement.
