School’s Out! It’s Time for IBM’s STEAM Summer CAMP!
What do robots, chatbots, astronomy, and digital art have in common? They are all part of the exciting world of IBM Canada National STEAM Summer Camp.
From July 12-14, 2022, IBM Canada is hosting a virtual Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) Summer Camp. This camp is for students entering grades 7-12 – and it’s offered by IBM at no cost to participants!
Students will enjoy three fun and exciting days engaging in workshops led by experts in the world of STEAM. By the end of the camp, many participants decide a career in STEAM is exactly what they’ve been looking for!

Choose from 21 workshops
You may have heard of “STEAM” but you’re not sure where to learn more. Or you’re interested in a STEAM career, but you need to build your skills and knowledge. The IBM Canada National STEAM Summer Camp is the perfect place for you!
Students choose from 21 fun and engaging online workshops, including “Exploring the Digital Ocean,” “Be an Astronomer!” & “Intro to Scratch.” Building chatbots, discovering the world of DNA, and conducting hands-on science experiments are just a few of the fascinating activities waiting for you!
Run entirely by volunteers from IBM along with 13 Canadian Client partners, the camp gives students the opportunity to interact and work with expert mentors from across the STEAM spectrum. These real-world professionals are dedicated to helping students build confidence and expand their knowledge in the world of STEAM.
