When it comes to cyber threats, you can’t always predict when one will occur.
But your organization can prepare!
If your organization is breached, are you prepared to identify, contain, and remediate the cyberattack?
As a CISO, CIO or a senior executive, I am sure this is a question that you have been asked more than once in your professional life.
Not surprising!
This is because 77% of respondents indicated they do not have a cybersecurity incident response plan applied consistently across the enterprise.
Let me ask another question.
Are you looking to improve your preparedness for your company’s worst day, to train your team to build a more effective cyber incident response?
If so, please read on!
As part of IBM’s mission to improve cybersecurity response, training, and preparedness for organizations, I am delighted to announce the launch of a new state-of-the-art IBM Security Command Center in Bengaluru, India.
So, what is the IBM Security Command Center and why are we so thrilled to bring it to you?
To begin with, it is our first IBM Security Command Center in the Asia Pacific region, right here in Bengaluru, following highly successful deployments in the United States and Europe, where over 11,000 customers have trained to prepare for being proactive responders. We aim to bring the global best practices and lessons to help customers in the region.
It is a fully immersive, interactive, and experiential learning facility that will that enable team training and exercises of cyberattack responses. It comes with simulations and experiences to help organizations build a more effective cyber incident response. It gives your team an opportunity to learn, practice and defend against cyberattacks in a safe and controlled environment.
Responding to a cyber incident is an organization-wide responsibility, cyber range training hence must not be just for the IT or SOC teams. At a facility like this, your cybersecurity team and stakeholders from across the company, such as marketing, legal, HR teams and even C-suite executives, can practice together and benefit from the experience.
Also, while organizations may have the right cybersecurity tools, the key questions to ask is are we using those tools in the right manner, and is it enough to just have the right tools?
Probably not!
In fact, it is important to understand how your tools and teams work together, and how the tools are applied to modern investigations. That is what the Command Center enables you to do.
What is truly unique about the IBM Security Command Center cyber range in Bengaluru is that it is co-located with the X-Force Command Center, which is our Security Operations Center or SOC. Basically, with this co-location, what we practice and simulate in the cyber range, we can put into action in our SOC. And, on the other side, what we learn in real life at the SOC we bring it back to the simulation at the cyber range. Clients can benefit tremendously from this co-location.
We have been investing in India, in building development centres that will help contribute to the innovation. The Command Center cyber range is part of our continued efforts to bring the best capabilities for our customers here.
You are now welcome to get started, with our help, right here today!
